Diversity Committee

Operating Engineers Local 4 is committed to maintaining a work environment in which everyone is treated fairly and with dignity, decency, and respect. The work environment should be free of all forms of harassment and discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity/expression, and sexual orientation), disability, veteran status, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic or category protected under federal and/or state law.

Local 4 expects all Local 4 members, employees, and representatives to conduct themselves in a cooperative and professional manner with courtesy and respect for others. Any harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated and, to the extent permitted by law, will be subject to Local 4’s complaint and investigation procedures. Any retaliation against any person who has complained about harassment and/or discrimination or any person who has cooperated with an investigation of a complaint will not be tolerated.

Anyone who has experienced or observed harassment, discrimination, or retaliation is strongly encouraged to contact any member of Local 4’s Diversity Committee.

Local 4 is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive membership and a safe and respectful workplace for all our members and employees.
