Brothers and Sisters,

I am pleased to announce that IUOE Local 4 has made a $100,000 donation to the Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter. This gift will fund efforts to fight this debilitating disease.

Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia. It causes problems with memory, thinking, and behavior. This donation will fund research, treatment, and advocacy for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia. The funds were raised by union members and partners through the 5th Annual Operating Engineers Local 4 Charitable Foundation, Inc. Golf Outing, and presented on behalf of our members in January.

“I just want to thank Local 4 for this super-generous donation,” said Jim Wessler, CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter. “It is so vital to supporting our work.”
