Brothers and Sisters,
On behalf of all of us at Local 4, I wish you a healthy, safe, and happy holiday season. This time of year allows us to connect, relax, and celebrate with our loved ones. We hope you enjoy these opportunities after our union’s busy and successful year.
As we near the end of 2021, we would like to recognize the accomplishments of our Operating Engineers this year. In the midst of uncertain times, our members have continued their hard work on sites across the region. From the South Coast Rail project to the Winthrop Square job, our efforts will have lasting impacts on our communities. Throughout this year, you all stepped up to give back to those around us as well. We recognize your generous spirit that has made enormous impacts, including the $100,000 raised as part of our annual Golf Outing for the fight against cancer, our contributions to Helmets to Hardhats, and this month’s collection for various veterans’ services, to name a few. This has been a busy year for Local 4, and we anticipate this trend will continue into 2022.
