Brothers and Sisters,

Please join us this week in celebrating the 10th Annual National Apprenticeship Week! Local 4 proudly offers a robust apprenticeship program to train our apprentices in safety, efficiency, and quality work. From classrooms to job sites, our apprentices receive a well-rounded education before entering the trade in full force. Thank you all for making them feel welcome on job sites as they complete their training. In 2024, we had 23 apprentices graduate from our program and we wish them all the best!

As many of you know, we are currently open for applications to the Apprenticeship Program and we are receiving a lot of interest with hundreds of appointments booked to fill out an application. The next step will be processing all of these applications. Then, we expect to be interviewing potential candidates that have completed all steps in the early spring with the JATC. Our Training Coordinator, Michael Carey, along with our training instructors and the training center’s administrative staff are hard at work with the application process and training our current apprentices.

Our team at the Training Center not only offers guidance and insight to apprentices; they also offer opportunities for our journey members to further their skills and certifications. Be sure to check out their offerings at: https://local4training.org/classes/

Thank you for celebrating National Apprenticeship Week with us! We look forward to the continued growth and success of Local 4. It’s thanks to members like you that we receive so much interest and are able to continue welcoming new apprentices each year.

In Solidarity,

Michael J. Bowes
