I’m sorry to report that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve made the tough decision to cancel this year’s 3rd Annual Local 4 Charitable Foundation Golf Outing.
Rest assured, we don’t take this action lightly. The Annual Golf Outing is one of our favorite events of the year. It gives us a chance to celebrate together, give back to our communities, and support those in need. We’re immensely grateful for your generosity in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for important causes over the years.
In the face of this unprecedented and dangerous virus, our top priority is the health and safety of our members and your families. As we continue to work closely with industry partners and public health experts, it’s become clear that cancelling the event is a necessary step to safeguard everyone’s wellbeing.
All golfers and sponsors will be receiving a reimbursement in the coming weeks. We plan to resume the day in 2021, so please stay tuned for future updates.
I know this is a difficult time for all of us. By coming together, honoring the guidance of public health experts, and supporting each other, I know we will emerge stronger than ever.
