Each year on Independence Day, we come together to celebrate the freedoms that define our nation. America was built on the enduring values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As a Union, we are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for all of our Operating Engineers in unison with these values.
As we watch the fireworks and join in other traditions this year, let us also take a moment to honor the sacrifices made by those who protect our freedoms—ensuring that we can go to work, return home to our loved ones, and enjoy the company of friends.
