Brothers and Sisters,
Today, we celebrate and honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We are all beneficiaries of Dr. King’s work to promote labor and civil rights. This day builds on the work we have done to fight for equality, and although we’ve made progress, this day is an important reminder to continue uplifting Dr. King’s work. Local 4 is committed to building in his honor for our fellow workers today and in the future.
Martin Luther King, Jr. was a staunch advocate of labor unions, labor organizing, and collective bargaining rights. Local 4 is happy to honor Dr. King’s legacy and is committed to advancing diversity, inclusion, and equity within the construction industry.
