Brothers and Sisters,

I am honored today to recognize the bravery of the men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our great country. These heroes have dedicated their lives to preserve our freedom, and for that we are profoundly grateful. Our own Brothers and Sisters from Local 4 are among these fallen heroes. We are grateful, today and every day, to remember their legacy and continue their fight for freedom.

To commemorate this holiday, we ask that you join together with your families and friends to place flags in our national cemeteries, decorate headstones to honor the deceased, and attend Memorial Day parades and services. I encourage everyone to take part in your local ceremonies to show your respect for the fallen and to continue to uplift their enduring legacy in our Union community.

At Local 4, the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes remind us to remain steady in our values and our support for a stronger union. As we observe Memorial Day, we recommit ourselves to honoring their legacy through strength, solidarity, and service to our community.

In Solidarity,
