Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) are instrumental in ensuring equitable wages, safe working environments, and high craftsmanship standards across construction projects. By rallying behind PLA legislation, we champion our interests and advocate for the broader construction workforce in Massachusetts and beyond.
PLAs have proven to be effective tools nationwide, utilized by some of the largest corporations to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. In the Commonwealth, PLAs have been successfully implemented in public construction projects, including the Holyoke Soldiers Home, UMASS Boston, courthouses, water treatment facilities, and more.
