Brothers and Sisters,

Our union is proud to recognize the many women leading the way in the construction trades. In our jurisdiction and beyond, these workers are playing a leading role in building our neighborhoods. As we recognize Women in Construction Week, it is important to celebrate the many accomplished tradeswomen within our ranks.

Local 4 is dedicated to promoting inclusivity and equity beyond just our job sites. We are proud to fight for equal wages, benefits, and work opportunities, regardless of gender.

With ample opportunities for apprenticeship and training, leadership roles, and family-sustaining careers, the number of women in the building trades continues to grow. We are proud to recognize our Sisters both within Local 4 and the greater labor movement. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to building a brighter future for our communities!
